Dev D is a complete emotional attyaachaar film directed by Anurag Kashyap.This film has been rated with two stars. Star casting in this film Dev (Abhay Deol) is the son of a rich industrialist and two leading ladies Mahi Gill and Kalki. Mahi not only looks gorgeous but is an extremely natural bringing out in the film. Dibyendu Bhattacharya as Chunni the brash and loud pimp succeeds is bringing out a few laughs...:):)


Kashyap has tried to play around with his narrative style by incorporating 18 songs (some very short). But some coming one after another in succession make you really bored. Trying to modernize Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s classic novel Devdas Anurag Kashyap’s Dev D has ended up with no audience at the theater to watch the full movie.


Amit Trivedi’s music is good and has brought some cheers to the film, emotional Atyaachaar being already a hit. Amongst the many songs, the rock version of Emotional Atyaachaar has been superbly picturised. The sound design is good. The camera work done by Rajiv Ravi is absolutely top class.

At the end those expecting a romantic film its not of there kind……! Altogether its completely different film.

Billu in different role

King Khan's latest film released "Billu Barber" casting himself as an super hero,Irfan khan as the main hero along with Lara Datta, also casting are Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone each of them playing an item song in the film. The film is all about a superstar as Srk and a village barber role played by irfan.

The film is directed by Priyadarshan who say's Only the climax of Kuselan and Billu Barber are the same. Otherwise they are two different films. The music of film is good, Pritam’s music appears better with good glamour's songs. As usual in Priyadarshan film – Rajpal Yadav,Om Puri did there job excellently.


Billu is a good story to tell, that brings tear in your eyes and at the same time brings smile on your face. The story is all about childhood friends when they meet up at a stage where in the two have got into there own professional work. As every one know king as done his role as excepted by every one and irfan as you know is a real natural actor.

Initially the role Billu's Wife was given to Tabu, she refused to play the role in the film as she didn't want to work with Irrfan Khan.The film,which is said to be the remake of malayalam film Kadha Parayumbol,tamil kusalen is also remake of that malayalam film but met a poor box office reception.

I'm talking about one of the finest tuned actor of bollywood Shahrukh khan, known as King khan,Bollywood ka baadshah, and so on.. You must be feeling uncomfortable as I'm go'g on and on... about Mr khan, as it feels proud to be fan of him in early age of 16 he lost his parents and was brought up by his uncle.Today in this world 2.7 billion people around the world recognize Tom cruise and 3.2 Billion people recognize "Shahrukh khan".

King khan made his debut in 1988 with television serial fauji playing the role of commando,his first bollywood movie was Deewana in 1992,it was a super hit,he won the film fare for his first performance as an actor.Then thereafter the class actor had no chance to look back,he again came back with super hit films like "Baazigar,Darr" in which he acting was superb.

Again in 1995 was his era,khan starred in yash raj production "DDLG" which was biggest hit ever in bollywood and in overseas market,till today the film is screened in mumbai theater,in 1997 he was again with yash raj banner with "Dil to pagal hai". which was also a box office hit,the actor was in such a peak time that the films were getting house full by just the presence of this actor in the film.In 1998 his close friend and a dynamic director Karan johar worked out a film with Khan in "kuch kuch hota hai".Which saw again the raising star Shahrukh khan,he was again awarded filmfare for his acting in this film.

As many people around say he does only romantic films of same way or the other, for them the actor played in movies such as "JOSH,HEY RAM,ASOKA,MAIN HOON NA,DON,CHAK DE". Which were different from the usual for the actor but made a point as many of them were box office hits and even won several awards.

As a producer he owns two company's one being "DREAMS UNLIMITED" with Juhi and Aziz and other being "RED CHILLIES" by his wife Gauri Khan, as a producer also he had his success the latest being "OM SHANTI OM" which was a box office hit and earned a huge success in overseas market.

King khan even had his share of success in small screen shows as "Kaun banega crorepati" as of now in 2008 he is hosting in show "Kya aap paanchvi pass se tez hain"
